Registered Nurse - CVOR Surgical Experience Required
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with current CVOR (open-heart) surgical experience for a critical role. The RN will work 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts and will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the CVOR. This position requires flexibility—including the ability to float to General OR when needed and taking on call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care for patients undergoing open-heart surgery.
- Float to General OR when there are no open-heart cases available.
- Participate in 1 to 2 days of call per week, including CVOR call.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current open-heart surgical experience required.
- Experience with DaVinci Robot is mandatory.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Candidates must have minimal RTO and be willing to work or take call during upcoming holidays.
Contract Details
- Contract duration: 91 weeks.
- Hours may be adjusted by the facility, with a right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
