Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS TEAM LEAD in the DIRECTED ENERGY DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties Help
- You will serve as the principle logistics point of contact and provide total life cycle logistics program support for Directed Energy Programs.
- You will serve as as Logistics Team Lead providing leadership, coordination, project planning and overall Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) task management of all Directed Energy (LEM) efforts.
- You will coordinate requirements and serve as the liaison within E-Department for Directed Energy Logistics for project management, engineering, financial, contracts, depot, logistical and training support.
- You will provide recommendations and solutions to Logistics related problems or issues and develop logistics budget/ Task Planning Sheets and manpower/workload requirements.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of Logistics principles and multiple Logistics disciplines as applied to Navy Ship Combat/Weapons/Missile Systems.
- You will plan, implement, manage and control major aspects of a critical Integrated Logistics Support program for NAVSEA Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Planning and coordinating logistics management operations to provide life-cycle logistics support as it applies to Ship Combat or Weapons systems. Additional information This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
