Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for night shifts requiring BLS certification, Epic experience, and prior large hospital experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical A unit within a hospital setting
Medical-surgical patient population
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12-hour schedule
Assignment is 13 weeks in length
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR used; prior experience required
Responsible for providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care
First time travelers are accepted, including local candidates with no distance restrictions except at specific facilities if indicated
Holiday coverage is required as needed based on the unit schedule

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working in a hospital with more than 500 beds required
Proven Epic charting experience
