**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Sylva, North Carolina. Our facility is an established 86-bed acute care hospital known for providing exemplary patient care since 1929. This dynamic environment offers a wide array of medical services, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, and emergency medicine, along with sports medicine and physical therapy.
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to ensure patients receive high-quality clinical care while fostering a compassionate and supportive environment. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver world-class patient experiences and uphold our commitment to excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing direct care as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and care provided.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and wellness strategies.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards to ensure patient safety.
**Qualifications:**
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
- Previous nursing experience preferred, ideally in an acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must complete all required screenings prior to starting.
