Overall Summary As a Launch Coordinator, you will be the orchestrator of new product introductions (NPIs), ensuring that battery and energy storage systems smoothly transition from design through development into full-scale production. You'll be the nerve center connecting engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to meet technical, timeline, and cost targets during each launch phase.

Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities Program Coordination
- Lead cross-functional activities for new product and process launches
- Develop detailed launch schedules, track milestone progress, and identify risks and mitigation plans
Manufacturing Readiness
- Coordinate line readiness, including tooling, fixtures, training, and process validation
- Support ramp-up planning and the successful handoff to manufacturing teams
- Supplier & Material Planning
- Collaborate with sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure supplier readiness and material availability
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage pre-production procurement strategies and timing
- Process Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure process work instructions, control plans, and standard operating procedures are defined and documented
- Support compliance to quality standards and regulatory requirements during launch
- Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Track and triage launch-related issues, drive resolution with responsible teams
- Capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future launches
- Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the central point for communication of launch status, risks, and progress across departments
- Create clear and concise reports for leadership reviews
Education/Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Five (5+) or more years experience in manufacturing or manufacturing program coordination, preferably in the battery, automotive, or electronics sectors
- Relevant certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Familiarity with product development lifecycle and NPI frameworks
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working within an entrepreneurial, "roll-up your sleeves" environment
- Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to solve issues
- Highly motivated with demonstrated experience managing projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Experience with manufacturing systems, ERP, PLM, and documentation tools
- Experience in launching high-power or high-energy-density systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

- Overnight/North America Travel: Less than 10%
Working Conditions - Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
