Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Cardiac Sonographers are an integral part of Northwest Hospital's Cardiac Care team!
Coordinates daily operational and clinical activities to assist physicians in the treatment of patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs Diagnostic Studies According to Protocol
- Maintains Patient Records according to regulations.
- Demonstrates professional responsibility in the Cardiac Sonographer role and ongoing clinical development.
- Complies with patient safety goals, policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
- 1-3 years of experience
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification
- Cardiac Sonographer Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI)
