The Production Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for ensuring shipment goals, business goals, customer requirements, and production plans are achieved.
The production machine shop supervisor will be involved in production planning and maintenance planning to ensure that plans and goals are met. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional group to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business.
This position is part of the Operations Department and will be located in Cortland, NY.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Action plan: problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Metrics reporting and daily management
- Lead a group of associates to achieve business and production goals
- Oversee the direct manufacturing operations in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery to external customers.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of work-related experience, an associate's degree with 5 years of related work experience, or 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- 2+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Detailed working knowledge of Excel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in a union environment
- Experience with SAP and ADP eTime
- CNC Machining

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
