Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

EEG Technologist - EEG Technologist
Job Details:
• Work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
• Sunday night call requirements
• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• May float to other departments based on organizational needs up to competency level
• Perform complex neurodiagnostic procedures including EEGs, Long Term Monitoring of Epilepsy, 24-hour EEGs, Evoked Potentials, NCS, and Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring
• Work in various areas including department, bedside, Emergency Room, and Operating Room
• Demonstrate proper electrode application, preparation of technical history, and selection of test protocols
• Review studies for electrode and equipment integrity, technique, patient safety, and completeness
• Provide care for patients ranging from newborn through geriatric
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in respective department required; 3 years recent hospital/neurology experience preferred
• Must hold Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) from ABRET or Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T.) from AAET/CNCT certification
• American Heart Association CPR certification for healthcare providers required within 60 days
• Schedule may vary based on department needs including weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Facility reserves right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census
