W.W. Fairbairn & Sons, Inc. is a family run plumbing, heating, and cooling company specializing in residential homes. We have been in business since 1895 and are entering our 5th generation of ownership. There has been a lot of turnover of family owned companies in Northern Michigan in the last few years. WWF will not be selling in any shape or form as we are just entering our 5th generation of ownership - we have a legacy to uphold!

The Position:

We are looking for a full-time licensed Journey or Master Plumber with substantial experience. This position will be required to perform high level and intensive repairs, install new plumbing systems, repair and update old, replacements of equipment, and much more. Extensive training is not available for this position as we are looking for an individual with substantial experience to begin solo work immediately. Additionally, training an apprentice once you are settled in is required.

Required Skills Include:

Michigan Journey Plumber License. The more experience you carry with this license, the higher your wage will be.

Driver's license that includes a valid and insurable driving record.

Capable writing skills for write up descriptions of work performed.

Proficiency using Apple and Android products.

Highly effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, collaborative nature, and strong work ethic.

Dedicated to providing excellent customer service to every single client.

Self-motivated.

Able to easily lift 50-100 pounds without injury.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
