Position Information
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a leading healthcare facility in Johnstown, PA. This position is ideal for skilled professionals looking to make a difference in patient care.

- Shift: Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
- Call Requirements: As Needed
Unit Profile
- Facility Department: Progressive Care Unit
- Trauma Level: Level 1
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
- EHR: EPIC
- Patient Population: All Ages
Responsibilities
The RN will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, focusing on the following:
- Intermediate Cardiac Care and Telemetry Monitoring
- Providing care for patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Pulmonary Edema, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Managing patient care after surgical procedures, including carotid endarterectomy and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Administering IV infusions and medications as required
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Years of Experience: 1+ years in Telemetry or Cardiac Step-down preferred
- Personality Fit: Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care
Additional Information
Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. All candidates must complete and clear necessary screenings prior to starting. Candidates residing 60 miles or greater from the facility are encouraged to apply.
