Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU position requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience and competency with CRRT, vents, and ART lines.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Patient population requires critical care and ICU-level interventions
- May be required to float within the facility or to other sites within 40 miles, within skill set
- Use of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), ventilators, and arterial lines is required
- EPIC EMR is used
- Weekend and holiday coverage is required
- May be asked to float to other units or locations based on staffing needs
- Scrub color or dress code will be provided upon assignment
- Local candidates are accepted with a reduced rate per the facility’s radius rule
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Auto-offer process is in place for all assignments
Requirements
- Active RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment
- Verification via Nursys required
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- A minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care experience is required
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US address
