Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring a MA RN license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Cares for emergency and acute patient populations
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Floating may occur within the department as required
- 13-week assignment duration
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Candidates must complete required testing (ECG and Medication) via online proctor within one week of offer
- All time off requests must be presented at the time of submission
- Monthly orientation sessions are provided with a set start date
- Testing is pass/fail and there is no opportunity for remediation
- Medical exemptions for vaccines are accepted with appropriate documentation
- Parking may incur significant daily costs in some locations
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS or ENPC preferred
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience required
- Candidates must pass an online ECG/Dysrhythmia and Medication test with a score of 85% or higher prior to acceptance, with only one attempt allowed
- Flu vaccine required prior to start
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required prior to start (medical exemptions accepted)
- Candidates may not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in any capacity within the last 6 months
