ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Assistant Office Manager/Sales Team Leader with Jarrod Furgason State Farm, you equip our agency to continually achieve its goals with a focus on LIFE INSURANCE. You empower our agency by implementing and supporting office policies and consistently ensuring the execution of advantageous customer experiences. By alongside other team members, you create smooth operations to actualize the opportunities offered to people by insurance products and financial services. As an organized and detail-oriented professional, your skill set promotes the basis for people in our community to have something they need. Jarrod Furgason State Farm is eager to bring aboard your collaborative presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the sales team through coaching, mentoring and producing new LIFE INSURANCE and Property & Casualty policies.
- Personally write an average of five (5) LIFE POLICIES & 60 new P & C policies each month.
- Team with agent to create a successful "sales-first" culture with an emphasis on LIFE INSURANCE.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about LIFE INSURANCE options.
- Ensure the office is well-maintained and continuously equipped to successfully meet customer needs and to market relevant products.
- Be a Team Player; lead by example through ensuring all team members understand their roles and prioritize the customer and agency's needs.
- Must have a great attitude each day.
- Always display a professional appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS: - MUST HAVE A CURRENT LIFE INSURANCE LICENSE & A VERFIABLE STRONG TRACK RECORD IN LIFE INSURANCE PRODUCTION
- MUST HAVE A CURRENT PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE LICENSE
- PREVIOUS STATE FARM AGENCY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Ability to prioritize our customer's needs & the agency's goals above all else
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in customer service required
- Experience in managing customer service preferred
- Experience in sales REQUIRED
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Able to work in and manage a team environment
- Able to work 40+ hours per week, as needed
- Experience in Windows computer applications
- Able to coordinate and collaborate with others to achieve agency goals.
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and to manage stressful situations smoothly

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
