MQ Administrator - Annapolis Junction, MD
Join a mission-critical defense project supporting Homeland Security. We're seeking an experienced IBM MQ Administrator to manage secure, high-availability messaging systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain MQ systems, queues, and channels
Administer security protocols and user access
Troubleshoot incidents and support 24/7 system uptime
Apply updates, manage backups, and support disaster recovery
Document configurations and ensure compliance
Collaborate with IT teams and monitor system capacity

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship)
On-site presence required (Mon-Fri) in Annapolis Junction, MD
Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule
12+ years of MQ or related experience
Experience with WebSphere

Preferred:

IBM MQ System Admin certification

Compensation:

$110-130k *based on experience*
Full medical/dental/vision through Cigna
401(k) through ADP
PTO/Holidays and paid sick leave as required by law
