Subject Matter Expert: A seasoned professional with expertise across a diverse range of corporate services and operational support functions. Areas of specialization include:
- Claims Processing - Specializing in optimizing front-end processes, including patient access, insurance verification, and pre-authorization to ensure clean claims and accelerated reimbursements.
- eDiscovery - Contract review and negotiation, with deep expertise in identifying key legal and compliance risks, managing review workflows, and aligning contract terms with regulatory and client requirements
- Heavy Duty Equipment - Focus in contract structuring, fleet utilization, and cost optimization to maximize equipment ROI and ensure compliance with industry safety and leasing standards.
- Library & Information Services - Specializing in analyzing case law, statutes, and regulatory materials to support litigation strategy, contract interpretation, and risk assessment across diverse practice areas.
- Office Equipment - Optimizing print environments through fleet management, cost control, security compliance, and workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Outsourced Services - Outsourced copy and mail labor services, specializing in vendor management, service level optimization, and process improvement to ensure timely, secure, and cost-effective document handling and distribution.
- Record Retention & Shredding - Specializing in compliance-driven records management, secure chain-of-custody protocols, and cost-efficient solutions for document retention, retrieval, and certified destruction
- Research & Information Services - Optimization of platforms for competitive analysis, trend monitoring, and strategic decision support through actionable data insights.
- Waste Services - Building sustainable waste management solutions, regulatory compliance, and optimizing collection and disposal processes to reduce environmental impact and operational costs
This SME brings a strong focus on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective service delivery, supporting both core business functions and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications What You Will Do: - As the subject matter expert, your role will be focused on creating additional value to existing accounts/clients/projects.
As it relates to creating additional value, some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzing client infrastructure, vendor contracts, and pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions tailored to client needs
- Leading complex negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms on behalf of clients
- Deliver actionable insights and present findings to client stakeholders
- Proactively identify client challenges and recommend strategic and operational solutions that exceed expectations
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies within your domain
- Create and refine deliverables such as data analyses, reports, and client presentations as it relates to creating additional value
- Serve as an internal resource for functional expertise and thought leadership
- Work independently on projects or as a contributor on larger engagements
- Take ownership of projects from ideation through execution, often in situations with limited direction or defined processes
- Focus on proactively driving progress, setting clear objectives, and ensuring timely delivery of results
- Facilitate and lead internal meetings with confidence, aligning stakeholders across functions, navigating ambiguity, and championing initiatives that push projects forward without waiting for instruction
What You Need: - Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 7-15 years of experience in consulting, vendor management, or business analysis
- Deep functional expertise in one or more spend categories (e.g., IT, telecom, facilities)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; ability to synthesize large data sets
- Proven experience developing solutions in complex client environments
- Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills
- Project management experience and familiarity with tools to manage deliverables such as SmartSheet and Project Management CRM strategies

The salary range for this position is: $135,000-$165,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, education, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
