Executive Assistant to Chief Legal Officer, Global Chemical Company, Houston, Texas
A global publicly traded chemical company headquartered in Houston is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and professional Executive Assistant to support the Chief Legal Officer (CLO). This role will also serve as the back-up Executive Assistant to the CEO, requiring exceptional discretion, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership. The position is on-site, five days per week, in a fast-paced corporate environment.
About The Job:
• Serve as the primary administrative support, "right hand" to the CLO, managing an ever-changing calendar, schedule meetings and prioritizing his in-box.
• Act as back-up EA for the CEO, providing seamless coverage and support when needed.
• Coordinate and arrange domestic and international travel arrangements with detailed itineraries
• Craft and edit emails and other correspondence on his behalf; Create and edit PowerPoint presentations
• Liaise with Board members, executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Organize meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all materials and logistics are handled efficiently.
• Track and manage deadlines, priorities, and follow-ups for the CLO
• Expense reporting
About You:
• 5-7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a C-Suite executive in a global publicly traded company; Experience working for a C-Suite executive in the legal space a PLUS.
• Bachelor's Degree; Paralegal Certification a PLUS.
• Detail-oriented and organized with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Professional presence with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional and proactive with a true team mentality.
