The Spiritual Care Administrative Officer 2 provides high-level administrative support to department through life's experiences. Assist to maintain and support an accredited Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) CPE Levels I, II, and Certified Educator training programs and an active volunteer chaplaincy program.

- Ability to coordinate travel and meeting arrangements, process check request, and triage calls
- Knowledge and ability to maintain and coordinate department calendar, take and distribute meeting notes and create agenda for meetings
- Skill in increasing office productivity by consolidating time-consuming administrative tasks into one role
- Ability to work effectively in a educational and professional setting with a diverse spirituality and religious appreciation
Preferred Qualifications - Process improvement and development to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
- One (1) year experience as an Administrative Officer, or 3 years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work
- General working knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices
- Skill in multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment with reasonable amount of stress
- Knowledge and skill in successful event planning, including planning, prioritizing tasks, attention to detail, communications and collaboration
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on timeframe

Department Overview The department actively fosters a community that recognizes and promotes diverse spiritualities, thereby creating a supportive environment for spiritual expression that celebrates and enhances resilience among all team members. Furthermore, it is responsible for the maintenance and support of all levels of the CPE program, including professional and volunteer chaplains.
The department staff, including the administrative officer, will provide person-centered spiritual care services through the implementation of Relational and Spiritual Care therapeutic practices, which include Attuning, wondering, following, and Holding.
The position entails the oversight of the administrative operations of the department to promote efficiency and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, which includes the provision of comprehensive clerical and receptionist support. This role collaborates with the manager to facilitate the orientation of new staff, manage correspondence and scheduling, coordinate office activities, and maintain the department's records.
