Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated OR Technologist with experience in cardiovascular/open heart procedures. As a vital member of the Operating Room (OR) team, you will work under the general supervision of the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager alongside surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists, and ancillary support personnel. Your primary function will be scrubbing for surgical cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and handle surgical instruments, supplies, medications, media, specimens, and instrument cases.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in safety protocols and quality assurance efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience in cardiovascular/open heart surgical procedures is required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
