Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Duration: 26 weeks

Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Every weekend required; two weekday shifts typically 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

Perform MRI procedures independently in an outpatient and acute care setting.
Operate various MRI equipment including GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba, and PACS.
Scan body regions such as:
- Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Spine (Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic), Brain, Neck, Breast
Utilize advanced imaging techniques including:
- Diffusion, Gradient Echo, Perfusion, Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), ADC mapping
Perform post-processing of images for diagnostic purposes.
Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and age-specific competencies for young, middle, and older adult patients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
Licensure: OR license required (pending accepted)
Certifications: ARRT (MR) and BLS required
Charting System: Epic experience required
Patient Ratio: Approx. 1:1 technologist per MRI scanner
Equipment Experience: GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba
Work Settings: Adult acute care and outpatient

Additional Notes: Must work every weekend with swing weekday shifts. No call, no evening shifts, and no floating between units required. Must have a personal vehicle for assignment. Must commit to working at least 3 of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.
