- Hours per Week: 40
- Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist (locum tenens)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260 - $2430
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered Technologist (R) and CT certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Experience as a CT Scan Technologist
- Patient education experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiologic and CT procedures following protocols established by radiologists
- Prepare, maintain, and operate radiographic and CT equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and best practices in clinical support
- Produce high-quality radiographs and cross-sectional images for interpretation
- Operate CT scanner to generate optimal diagnostic images
- Educate patients about radiology and CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
