Travel Registered Nurse – GI Lab

Location: Cumming, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: 10/13/2025

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced GI Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumming, GA. This nurse will support the endoscopy procedural area, providing care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Responsibilities:

Staff pre-op, procedure, and recovery areas as assigned
Provide direct nursing care for a variety of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
Monitor patients and ensure safety throughout procedures
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards
Adapt to fluctuating case loads on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of GI Lab or Endoscopy nursing experience
Required Certification: BLS
Preferred Certification: ACLS
Must successfully pass a Color Acuity Screening Test
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Assignment Details:

Shift Type: 10-hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Duration: 13 weeks
