Clinical Admissions Director

Do you have a background in healthcare sales and marketing? Are you looking for a new chanllenge as a clincian? This is your opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise to ensure high quality patient care and meet census goals by utilizing your nursing experience to effectively manage the referral screening process and remove clinical barriers to admissions. If you enjoy working with seniors and their families to secure the best care for a post-acute stay, consider the role as clinical admissions director.

This role serves as the primary contact between multiple facilities and referral sources, prospective patients and their families. The clinical AD leverages their clinical knowledge to assess the needs of the potential patitent, coordinates with the clinical and adminstrative teams to ensure a seamless appropriate transition.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community.
Connect daily with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies
Conduct admission screenings of potential guests; determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage as need

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Experience in healthcare sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred.
Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.
