Peer Review RN to join our Risk Management team at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is full-time and will work day shifts.
The Peer Review RN is responsible for facilitating the design, implementation and the ongoing evaluation of the physician peer review program and nursing peer review process in collaboration with physician leaders and nursing leaders. This position requires strong clinical analytical skills, problem solving skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables. Position screens hospital incident reports and mines other reports and databases as well as perform needed case reviews based on Federal, State and National guidelines. With the Quality, Safety and Risk caregivers, facilitates medical staff and nursing leadership action plans on designs and implements to address trends in performance involving peer review and/or event investigations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
- 3 years Acute care clinical practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or equivalent
- Peer Review experience.
