Mammography Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- ARRT (M) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active state license (must be in hand to submit)
- Experience with mammography biopsies highly preferred
- Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment and Epic EMR is a plus
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Locals within 50 miles are not accepted
Mammography Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using advanced digital imaging equipment
- Support diagnostic day on Thursdays, with flexibility for extended hours as needed
- Operate Hologic mammography systems and utilize Changehealthcare PACS and Epic EMR
- Assist with mammography biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and stereotactic procedures
- Maintain radiation safety and quality assurance standards in a clinical healthcare setting
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure excellent patient care and operational efficiency
