RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a high-volume emergency department with over 100,000 visits annually
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
• 101-bed emergency department with multiple specialized sections
• Must be flexible to work in all areas of the ED, no floating outside the department
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement, must meet departmental needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before start date), ENPC within 90 days of hire
• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
• Previous Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Navy scrubs dress code required
• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, triage, and unit clerks on days and nights
• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards
• Keep patient boards updated and communicate with patients throughout visits
