Job Description: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Shift Information
This position requires a Day 4x10-Hour shift from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM for a duration of 13 weeks. There will also be on-call responsibilities with a schedule of 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
- Certifications: ARRT (R) or RCIS
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster(s)
- Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts as required
Procedural Responsibilities
- Accurate monitoring of patients
- Equipment setup and prep of access site
- Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Maintain a sterile field while scrubbing
Skills Needed
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Fluoroscopy and Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Interventional Cardiac Cath lab skills
- PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
Patient Care Details
This role involves caring for adult patients in a busy clinical environment with a daily census of approximately 12 patients and 2 rooms available for procedures.

Note: Travelers with prior ICU, ED, MST, and Stepdown experience will be expected to work every other weekend as part of their assignment. Background checks and unit-based competency testing will be conducted during the compliance process.
