Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and carotid stenting
• Manage central venous access including non-tunneled lines and PICC line placement
• Conduct specialized procedures such as embolization, nephrostomy, and dialysis graft interventions
• Perform chest tube placement and gastrostomy tube placement procedures
• Execute liver biopsies, thoracentesis, and percutaneous procedures
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and manage ports and catheters
• Perform upper and lower extremity angiography and renal artery stent placement
• Conduct outpatient contrast procedures and biopsies
• Handle peripherals and kyphoplasty procedures as required
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with daily caseload typically up to 6 cases
• Take call 1-2 days per week and participate in rotating weekend coverage
• Maintain current ARRT, BLS, and Fluoro certifications
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Float between facilities within the state as assigned
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Maintain valid state licensure and comply with background requirements
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
