WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join a leading healthcare facility. The Endoscopy Tech will play a vital role in assisting with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 7am - 3:30pm.
- Ensure patient safety by preventing injury from external sources and following all safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain endoscopic equipment, reporting and addressing any unsafe conditions.
- Serve as a patient advocate by voicing safety concerns and ensuring proper care.
- Handle and label specimens according to facility protocols.
- Maintain a sterile field, preparing and organizing instruments and supplies for procedures.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Requirements:
- Maintains current certification/licensure as required for position.
- 1 year of Endo Tech experience.
- Prior experience as a GI Tech preferred.
- BLS from the American Heart Association required.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
