**Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatric Intensive Care**
**Shift:** Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced pediatric environment. This role primarily focuses on providing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), working with pediatric patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-level respiratory care to our young patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
- Conduct assessments, implement treatment plans, and monitor patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with floating to various units, including rehabilitation and other NICUs as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a pediatric or critical care setting.
- Current and valid Ohio RRT license.
- Required certifications:
- NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Experience with high-level care in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
**Contract Details:**
- 8-week contract with the possibility of extension.
- Orientation and training modules will be provided, requiring completion prior to start.
**Additional Information:**
- Background checks and health screenings are required, including a nicotine-free policy with a negative drug screening.
- References from a manager or supervisor in a relevant specialty within the past 12 months are mandatory for submission.
