GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Ithaca, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Start Date: 09/22/2025
Duration: 8 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Local Contract

L&D RN

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs during labor
Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families
Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries
Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin
Manage postpartum recovery and newborn assessments

Requirements:

Active RN license
BLS and NRP certification
+2 years experience in labor and delivery
