Responsibilities: The Associate Vice President, Private Wealth Fundraising will execute the firm's private wealth capital-raising strategy, focusing on regional and global private wealth platforms and independent wealth advisors. This individual will craft compelling investment proposals, communicate complex deal fundamentals effectively, and build long-term relationships to diversify and expand the firm's private wealth funding sources. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a results-driven professional with a proven track record in private wealth fundraising.
Key Responsibilities include: Private Wealth Fundraising & Capital Strategy: - Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting private wealth platforms, independent wealth advisors, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Craft persuasive investment proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that effectively communicate deal fundamentals, portfolio performance, and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Investment and Global Distribution teams to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and the firm's overall strategic objectives.
Relationship Management: - Build and nurture strong relationships with regional and global private wealth platforms, family offices, and independent wealth advisors.
- Maintain regular communication with current and prospective investors, providing updates on investment opportunities, market trends, and portfolio performance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for private wealth investors, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness to inquiries.
Market Expansion & Funding Diversification: - Identify and engage new funding sources to diversify the firm's investor base, leveraging existing networks and exploring untapped markets.
- Stay abreast of market trends and investor demands, adapting strategies to meet evolving capital needs and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and private wealth gatherings to enhance visibility and attract new investors.
Leadership, Compliance & Due Diligence: - Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and follow industry best practices.
- Assist with investor due diligence processes, including working with cross-functional teams to prepare detailed due diligence materials and facilitate investor assessments.
- Provide insights on fundraising strategy, investor relations best practices, and market dynamics to senior executives and board members.
Requirements: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) or certifications highly preferred.
Experience: - 5+ years of experience in private wealth fundraising,, capital raising, or relationship management within the real estate, private equity, or investment management sectors, with a proven track record of managing private wealth relationships.
- Demonstrated success in engaging with private wealth platforms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
Skills and Capabilities: - Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, asset management, and capital market dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft strategic, high-level presentations and communicate complex deal structures effectively.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams in the capital-raising process.
- Strategic mindset, proactive approach, and ability to work independently and as part of the executive leadership team.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at desk.
