What You Will Do: - Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Provide mentorship and guide prioritization of tasks to junior admins.
- Experience in cross-team collaboration, and lead projects as directed.
- Manage ESXi, VCenter and a functional understanding of VDI.
- Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
- Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
- Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
- Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
- Full time 100% Onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies: Windows or Linux administration, backup, and recovery enterprise suites.
Qualifications We Prefer: - Red Hat Enterprise Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, prior systems administration and networking administration experience.
- Experience with cloning techniques.
- Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.
- Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).
- Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.
- Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

Learn More & Apply Now! The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
