As a Budget and Administrative Analyst, you'll dive into the heart of city operations-studying administrative systems, policies, and procedures, and helping guide the preparation and management of the municipal budget. Your work will involve meaningful analysis of departmental budgets and programs to ensure every dollar and resource is used wisely and effectively.
You'll work closely with the Budget Officer to prepare the annual budget, developing projections for revenue and expenditures that help city leaders make informed, strategic decisions. You'll also prepare clear, thoughtful responses to questions from elected officials and the public, helping build trust and transparency.
This role isn't just about numbers-it's about people, teamwork, and impact. You'll support other Finance Department divisions, growing your understanding of City operations and strengthening collaboration to get the most out of every effort.

Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements - Bachelor's degree with major course work in business or public administration, public finance, accounting, or related field.
- Some experience in public finance, management, and administrative analysis, as well as accounting and fiscal operations.
Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
