The Encompass Administrator is responsible for administering the Encompass Loan Origination System environment. The Encompass Administrator will work closely with the IT and production team to apply necessary functionality to meet vital business requirements.
The Encompass Administrator reports to the Vice President of Product Management and works closely with Executive Leadership, Compliance, Information Security, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts.
Responsibilities - Make recommendations on system changes and optimizations.
- Perform system analysis to determine the impact of proposed solutions.
- Write functional specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation.
- Review business requirement documents and proposing solutions
- Performing QA testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Design, document, configure, test & deploy approved Change Requests and Enhancement to system functionality.
- Manage integration of 3rd party vendors and services
- Create custom fields, documents, and data entry forms.
- Maintain users, roles, profiles, security settings, and loan access settings.
- Maintain Loan Setup settings as applicable to ongoing business needs.
- Maintain complete document library, build custom documents as needed and maintain eFolder settings
- Research changes in upcoming versions of Encompass and other integrated applications.
- Provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption of the program.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts for enhancement request submission.
- Provide technical documentation on all process, feature, and workflow changes for proper documentation for communication to end users.
- Maintain business rules for data entry, workflow progression and regulatory compliance as requested by each business group.
- Prepare reporting for regulatory examination process including electronic submission of data to regulatory agencies.
- Assist end users with their daily questions, concerns and proper usage of the system.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Technology
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage industry and loan origination life cycle
- 3+ years Encompass Administration experience
- Certified Encompass Administrator preferred
- Skilled in configuring Milestones and Personas, building Input forms, reports, dashboards, views and advanced coding of business rules
- Familiarity with PPEs
- Conceptual familiarity with Encompass Partner Connect APIs
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize
- Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills
