Job Title: First Assist Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician

Must-Have:
Must be able to circulate in all service lines except Open Hearts and Neuro surgery.
Experience in high volume General, Orthopedic, Gynecology, ENT, Urology/Cystoscopy, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and C-sections is required.
Description:
The unit has 5 operating rooms.
There are 5.4 registered nurses in the team.
Staff covers a day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The typical patient ratio for night shift is 1:1.
Equipment used includes an ENT microscope, Boston Scientific Mose Laser, Stryker towers for orthopedic and general use, and the Intuitive Robot X series.
Electronic medical records are managed using Meditech Expanse.
Ideal candidates should be self-motivated and able to operate without a board runner.
A charge RN manages operations from the operating room suite.
Preferred qualifications include scrub experience and familiarity with pre/post-operative phase II.
The unit performs all services except heart and neuro surgery.
Candidates may need to float to pre/post-operative phase II or PACU, but this is not required.
Scrub attire will be hospital laundered scrubs, which are provided.
The schedule is from Monday to Friday, with on-call duty one day per week and one weekend per month.
