Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our imaging team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be confident in operating Siemens MRI equipment and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role offers flexible assignment lengths (8, 13, or 20 weeks) and the opportunity to collaborate with another MRI technologist during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans using Siemens equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and provide compassionate care throughout.
Follow physician instructions and protocols to capture accurate and complete images.
Maintain patient safety by adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to support patient care.
Participate in call and rotation duties, including weekends, as scheduled.

Requirements:

Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
Proficiency with Siemens MRI machines.
Previous MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting required.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
