The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Schedule & Shift Details

Shift Type: 3x12-Hour Nights
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed; may be considered based on unit needs
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- First-time travelers considered based on experience
Certifications Required:
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- NRP
- ACLS
Licensure:
- Active RN license required
- Pending licenses not accepted
Charting System:
- Cerner (required)

Skills & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
Administer medications and assist with pain management
Circulate and assist during cesarean sections
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care

Floating Expectations:

May float within Women’s and Infants services
Rarely floated to Postpartum or Antepartum units
Will not float outside of Women’s and Infants scope
