SUMMARY:

- The UCH Echocardiography Laboratory maintains accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in adult transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR associate's degree in allied health OR Bachelor's degree in any area.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Minimum Experience: None Required. 1 year preferred.
- Credentials: Registered Sonographer, Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
