About The PositionWe are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 68-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Sep 15, 2025. This full-time role requires Monday through Friday shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, focusing on a variety of primary care tasks including sick calls, chronic care, and preventative measures.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct sick call assessments and rounding
- Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
- Operate preventative care clinics
- Participate in infirmary rounds specifically for internal medicine cases
- Handle trauma triage situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date charting notes
- Manage medication refills
- Address medical non-compliance among patients
- Assist in morning PA/NP lines, including suture removal and follow-ups
Additional Information
- Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Previous correctional facility experience is advantageous but not mandatory
