Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and related procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and procedure rooms.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and support staff.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures.
Educate patients and families on cardiac procedures and post-procedure care.
Accurately document patient care and procedural details according to hospital standards.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting.
Current BLS certification; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred.
