Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Crofton Dental Suite (Crofton, MD)
Schedule: Wednesday–Friday
Pay: $58–$63/hr (based on experience)

Crofton Dental Suite is looking for apositive, team-oriented Dental Hygienistto join our fun, bubbly, and collaborative office! We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, and we’re excited to bring on someone who shares our passion for teamwork and excellent care.
Schedule:
- Wednesday & Thursday:8 AM – 8 PM (flexible late start available)
- Friday:8 AM – 4 PM
What You’ll Do:
- One-column hygiene schedule for focused patient care
- 60-minute recall appointments
- 90-minute new patient appointments
- Deliver high-quality preventive care and education
- Collaborate with a supportive team that values your input

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Marylandand an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- New Grad Welcome!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
