Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE: The Healthworx Associate helps design, launch and execute programs that support innovators changing healthcare. This role is responsible for assisting in building new programs or running and improving existing programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Project Management - individual is capable of lead specialized projects to support services or business lines as required, reporting on progress, interacting with external stakeholders and managing the efforts of analysts / associates assigned to the project; individual should proactively identify challenges and strive to implement solutions that meaningfully contribute to task accomplishment.
- Developing and analysis budgets, legal agreements, policies, and other documentation for programs.
- Participate in the division strategy, thesis, and program.
- Researching trends through primary and secondary research in the market.
- Collaborating to identify strategic opportunities.
- Leading cross-functional projects between innovators, division, and others to deliver value to supported team.
- Reviewing and supporting task coordination while identifying potential process improvements.
- Communications - individual is capable of succinctly presenting the "So What?" of decisions, problems, and opportunities needed by Managers, Directors, or senior leaders in the firm; capable of identifying key themes and communicating their importance, trends, and meaning through data.
- Proactively identify ways, means, and platforms to build synergy and mutually reinforcing workstreams to accomplish tasks more effectively across different business functions of initiatives.
- Designing and running dashboards to support clear communication across verticals.
- Managing technology platforms to track progress, programs, and impact for supported service area.
- Rapport Building- Manage and grow trusted relationships within CareFirst and Healthworx to deepen subject-matter expertise, find opportunities to synchronize with core operations, and ensure close coordination with the central team in the execution of their areas of responsibility within the division.
- Quickly assess changing priorities on the team, re-align analyst support to emerging priorities, while developing recommendations to ensure continuity of services despite changing priorities.
- Collaborating on identifying opportunities for synergies to improve task execution across the organization.
- Working collaboratively with other support partners in our current and upcoming programs.
- Communicating strategy, programs, and next steps to leadership and our partners.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years related professional experience
Preferred Qualifications: - Some experience building programs or projects from scratch to scale at either/both start-ups and corporate environments.
- Experience working at an accelerator, investor, venture studio, or other supporter of early start-ups.
- Expertise in excel, relational databases, impact measurement, financial analysis, or other quantitative skills.
- Experience in startup company economics, business models, market dynamics, competitive analyses, and growth journeys.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Collaborator who builds trusting relationships and drives engagement and decisions across multiple levels and stakeholders, including start-ups, corporates, non-profits, investors, etc.
- Strategize with designers, gather requirements from an end user, and then present to the CareFirst CEO.
- Strategic-thinker who gets to the root of the problem and potential solutions to any challenge.
- Scope and design programs and projects, even with unclear initial instructions, fast timelines, and multiple stakeholders.
- Problem-solver who is comfortable iterating on programs.
- Ability to build a program or team from scratch to scale, and leans into details, responsibility, accountability and ownership.
- Project management skills to drive projects forward in both corporate and start-up environments and ideally interface between the two.
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Salary Range: $79,920 - $158,730
