The Motorsport Competence Group is looking for motivated and flexible crew chief (m/w/d) at our headquarters in St. Ingbert / Germany.

Key responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the technical readiness of the vehicles during test and race events
Ensuring identical and fault-free build quality of the various vehicles
Structuring and prioritizing tasks in the workshop
Responsibility for order, cleanliness, and process reliability in the workshop
Coordination of the mechanic team on-site and at events
Interface to other departments – Close collaboration and communication, especially with engineering and management
Ensuring compliance with all technical regulations (e.g., DMSB, FIA)
Support in the strategic planning of pit stops and race decisions
Quality control as well as analysis and documentation of technical issues
Process optimization

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a broad motorsport mechanical background. At minimum 7 years professional experience in GT3, F1, FE, LMDH, WEC or DTM is vital
Experience of always delivering quality race cars to extremely tight and demanding deadlines with conflicting priorities
The ability to consistently work to the highest standards with an exceptional attitude towards attention to detail
You must be able to take responsibility for the performance and coordination of a team as Crew Chief, working closely with all team members while thriving in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
High willingness to travel, flexible attitude to working hours including working at weekends
Clean driving license
German language would be beneficial, good English language is essential

Deine Aufgaben:

Gesamtverantwortung für die technische Einsatzbereitschaft der Fahrzeuge bei Test- und Renneinsätzen
Sicherstellung einer identischen und fehlerfreien Aufbauqualität der verschiedenen Fahrzeuge
Strukturierung und Priorisierung der Aufgaben im Workshop
Verantwortung für Ordnung, Sauberkeit und Prozesssicherheit im Workshop
Koordination des Mechaniker-Teams vor Ort und bei Events
Schnittstelle zu anderen Abteilungen - Enge Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation vor allem mit Engineering und Führungsebene
Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller technischen Vorschriften (z. B. DMSB, FIA)
Unterstützung bei der strategischen Planung von Boxenstopps und Rennentscheidungen
Qualitätskontrolle sowie Analyse und Dokumentation von technischen Problemen
Optimierung der Prozesse

Dein Profil:

Umfassender technischer Hintergrund im Motorsport
Mindestens 7 Jahre Berufserfahrung in GT3, F1, FE, LMDH, WEC oder DTM erforderlich
Fähigkeit die Verantwortung für die Perfomance der Fahrzeuge und Koordination des Teams zu übernehmen.
Erfahrung in der Bereitstellung von qualitativ hochwertigen Rennfahrzeugen unter extrem engen Zeitplänen und herausfordernden Bedingungen
Fähigkeit, konstant auf höchstem Niveau zu arbeiten und höchste Präzision sowie Detailgenauigkeit an den Tag zu legen
Teamfähigkeit und Freude an der Arbeit in einem leistungsorientierten und zeitkritischen Umfeld
Hohe Reisebereitschaft sowie flexible Arbeitszeiten, einschließlich Wochenendarbeit
Gültiger Führerschein
Deutsche Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil, gute Englischkenntnisse erforderlich
