About The Position A Trauma Center in Connecticut is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting 09/01/2025 The ideal candidate will work 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM in an 8-bed pediatric emergency care area. This role requires expertise in managing pediatric emergencies, including trauma cases, and the ability to handle a diverse range of pediatric patients. Familiarity with Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems is preferred. This exciting opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

• Utilize Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems for documentation
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety
• Adapt to the fast-paced environment of a pediatric emergency department
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in Connecticut
• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine preferred
• Experience in Trauma Centers is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work additional shifts may be required
