Senior Test and Infrastructure Engineerplays a critical role in enabling business development and customer engagement by supporting FP5G lab demo setups and associated equipment.As part of the FP5G System Team, Lab Support Engineers ensure the smooth operation, installation, and maintenance of Dell FP5G RAN equipment in a dynamic lab environment. They collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to prepare and maintain demo configurations, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide hands-on support for customer-facing lab activities. What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Test and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of FP5G lab demo setups and R&D equipment to support business development initiatives and external customer engagements. You will work with the FP5G Solutions team and cross-functional engineering groups to ensure lab environments are optimized for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and supporting customer use cases.
You will:
Coordinate and perform installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of Dell FP5G equipment located within the LAB computing environment or customers' sites
Interface with Dell FP5G development teams to establish successful integration of equipment into demo systems and support external customers
Provides top level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users
Work with engineering departments to develop hardware configuration test plans to support business development efforts
Provide on-site customer support

Essential Requirements
US Citizen
Proven experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of lab or R&D equipment, including servers, storage, and networking hardware
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to use diagnostic tools for equipment checks and preventive maintenance
Experience working in a Scrum or Agile development environment, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, to support automation and lab operations
Excellent organizational and communication skills to support dynamic priorities and convey technical information effectively
Desirable Requirements
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, familiarity with 5G, 3GPP standards, Telecom systems, O-RAN, and RAN technologies
Experience with FP5G technologies, lab automation tools, or supporting business development initiatives through technical demonstrations
US Security Clearance
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $103k - $133k.
