PMA Consultants is seeking a skilled, proactive, and client-focused
PMIS Administrator to lead the support and optimization of project management information systems across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have experience administering PMIS platforms and will serve as a key liaison among project teams, IT professionals, and stakeholders. This role emphasizes advanced configuration, process improvement, and end-user engagement to ensure system performance aligns with business objectives in complex capital project environments.
Organizational Responsibilities - Oversee system architecture and configuration across large-scale projects or portfolios.
- Lead advanced setup of PMIS modules with interdependencies (e.g., cost-schedule integration).
- Monitor and maintain system performance, user roles, and data governance frameworks.
- Partner with IT and vendor teams to implement system integrations and enhancements.
- Define technical standards, templates, and processes to ensure consistency.
- Stay current on PMIS trends and lead evaluations of emerging solutions.
- Lead enterprise-level requirements gathering and system mapping efforts.
- Design complex workflows and automation strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage phased implementation strategies across business units.
- Collaborate on integration design with ERP, document management, and BI platforms.
- Oversee data migration design, QA/QC processes, and cross-system reconciliation.
- Lead project planning, execution, and resource coordination for PMIS initiatives.
- Develop and oversee enterprise training programs and adoption plans.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, feedback cycles, and post-launch support models.
- Contribute to policy development and long-term digital strategy planning.
- Facilitate governance board presentations and system roadmap discussions.
- Act as subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership and project executives.
- Present technical concepts, KPIs, and system performance data to diverse audiences.
- Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and system recommendations.
- Mentor junior PMIS staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CM-BIM) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience administering or implementing PMIS at the enterprise level.
- Expertise in tools such as Oracle Primavera Unifier, e-Builder, or similar.
- Deep understanding of capital project lifecycle and project controls systems.
- Strong background in data visualization, analytics, and dashboard design.
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., APIs, ETL) and cloud-based platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and systems transformation projects.
Location and Commitments - Overtime work may be required occasionally to ensure certain deliverables are completed on time.
- Weekend work is rare but occasionally may be necessary.

$110,600 - $129,900 a year
