The Simulation Coordinator (Coordinator Forensic Laboratory) is a 12-month position, reporting to the Dean of Health, Education, Culinary Arts & Human Services.
- Provide on-going professional development in simulation to faculty on all aspects of simulation, supporting compliance with programmatic accreditation and SSH standards.
- Develop and provide simulation center orientation to faculty and staff.
- Implement simulation center assessment plan under direction of the Simulation center Director.
- Responsible for Simulation Center schedule, ensuring fair access to the center for all college programs and proposes coverage for simulation center schedule to Acting Associate Dean.
- Attend program meetings as necessary to coordinate program needs with the Simulation Center and keep programs abreast of any tech, equipment, or AV issues that might impact simulations or skills labs.
- In collaboration with subject matter experts and/or faculty liaisons, develop simulations that support the student learning objectives of programs and assist programs in standardizing and streamlining their simulations.
- Support the running of simulations by co-facilitating simulations with faculty or providing voice over or other technological support for the running of simulations.
- Collect and analyze student learning data on simulations, in conjunction with faculty liaisons where appropriate.
- Review student simulation learning data with programs, showing the impact of simulations on student learning, and assist faculty liaisons and/or subject-matter experts in revising simulations based on evidence and/or environmental impacts on the program (i.e., changes in clinical access, etc.).
- Responsible for coordinating duties of student workers in collaboration with the Acting Associate Dean; ensures workers are oriented to requested work activities, performs duties, and report time and attendance of student workers to division Administration for confirming payroll.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, or Healthcare Simulation, or a closely related field; or, Bachelor's Degree in one of these fields with two (2) year's full-time work experience;
- CHSE Certification or CHSE attainment within 12-18 months of start of employment as a condition of employment;
- Ability to use MAC and PC platforms;
- Knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
- Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically in a team environment;
- Ability to problem solve;
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of students and faculty;
- Ability to work independently.

Full-time, MCCC-Unit Position Salary: $76,153.00 - $90,535.00 (Grade 6). Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full State benefits.
