Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Operations Department (10), Human Resource Division (101), Labor and Employee Relations Branch (1014) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties Help
- You will be a Lead Human Resources Specialist serving as a technical expert in Labor and Employee Relations (LER) matters.
- You will task and direct the work of lower-level Specialists.
- You will serve as a management consultant/advisor in support of all LER programs, regarding applicable laws, regulations, policies, and processes.
- You will make recommendations to executive leadership, senior managers, and supervisors related to conduct and performance issues as well as various union matters.
- You will manage projects to implement new initiatives, program/policy changes, and process improvements.
- You will collaborate with others internal to Crane and/or across Warfare Centers and NAVSEA.
- You will address common concerns; share information, processes, and practices; and respond to data calls.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
providing recommendations on employee or labor relations programs to implement policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations for an organization. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).
