Senior Risk Assocaite, Card DMDC
As a Senior Risk Associate in Capital One's Card Risk Office you will be responsible for working with the Card Risk organization business to identify and consult on potential risks to Capital One. Sr Risk Associates have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to appropriately manage risks within the Card business. This organization plays a critical role in helping to ensure the company's risk-taking entities are aware of the risks inherent in their activities and decisions, the impact of their actions at an enterprise level, and opportunities to reduce, mitigate, or avoid the risks altogether.
Responsibilities:
- Execute credit policy controls which includes monitoring adherence to Credit Policy requirements across the Card business
- Perform control testing on credit controls performed by other team members
- Develop management reporting based on control outputs
- Partner with data analysts to iterate and improve upon control monitoring and reporting
- Synthesize data and perform analysis to bring valuable business insights to the Card business
- Consult with credit policy transaction testers to streamline similar tasks
- Assist with credit policy transaction testing and other risk and control processes as needed

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of experience in Risk, Project or Process Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in Risk, Project or Process Management
- At least 2 years of experience in Presentation/Communication
- At least 1 year of experience in Change management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Risk Associate
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Risk Associate
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
