THE POSITION The Washington County District Attorney's (DA) Office is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Supervisor on their Misdemeanor team! The DA's Office is responsible for the prosecution of individuals charged with crimes and other violations of state statutes that occur within Washington County. The DA's Office also provides legal assistance to the County's Juvenile Department, preparing legal documents and performing trial work in delinquency and dependency proceedings. Amongst a variety of other programs, we also work collaboratively with all of the law enforcement agencies in Washington County as well as with the Community Corrections and Juvenile Departments.
This position oversees a team of legal professional staff who support misdemeanor Deputy District Attorneys. They may also support other areas of operations as assigned. They may also provide backup support to administrative tasks such as processing payroll.

Legal Administrative Supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree; AND five (5) years of progressively responsible legal administrative experience; AND one (1) year of supervision/lead work. OR
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate; AND seven (7) years of progressively responsible legal administrative experience; AND one (1) year of supervision/lead work. OR
- High school diploma; AND nine (9) years of progressively responsible legal administrative experience; AND one (1) year of supervision/lead work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for a public agency providing legal administrative services in a supervisory or leadership role.
